Abstract

|
The fetal cardiac growth indecies were measured in realtime ultrasound two-dimensional apical four-chamber view and M-mode imaging technique during normal pregnancies between 18th to 41 st weeks of gestation. The relationships between the fetal
cardiac
growth indecies and other measurements such as biperietal diameter, and femur length with gestational age were analyzed. The fetal cardiac growth indecies showed a linear growth plattern with the increasing gestational age and significant linear
correlation with parameters of gestational age, biparietal diameter, and femur length, The measurement of fetal cardiac growth indecies might be used index of organ size in evaluation of fetus at risk for normal and anomalous development.
